McAuliffe announces AvePoint Inc. expansion in Richmond, Arlington County

Company to invest $1.5 million; create 155 new jobs
Governor Terry McAuliffe announced Friday that AvePoint Inc., the established leader in enabling enterprise collaboration across platforms and devices, will invest $1.5 million to establish an operation in the City of Richmond, creating 100 new jobs. The company will also expand in Arlington County, creating 55 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed against Atlanta, Georgia for the project.
“Arlington is proud to welcome AvePoint to its growing technology sector,” said Senator Barbara Favola. “AvePoint’s decision to choose Arlington speaks to the diverse and innovative culture that Arlington has cultivated. I applaud Governor McAuliffe for his tireless efforts to bring more jobs to the Commonwealth and I look forward to working with the Governor to continue to grow and diversify our economy.”
